IT Apprenticeships
Information Technology for Application Development
During your training as an IT Specialist in Application Development, you will dive deep into the world of software development. You will learn how to analyze requirements, develop and implement solutions, and independently advise customers during software rollouts and updates.
Your tasks:
- You will program software solutions for our customers based on Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV). To do this, you will learn the programming languages C/AL and AL.
- You analyze the requirements of our customers in close cooperation with your team, develop solutions and support the implementation. You test existing systems in order to eliminate possible errors on your own responsibility.
- With increasing experience, you will take on more and more responsibility within the projects and independently advise our customers on software implementation and updates.
What you need:

Your workplace:
Your pracitcal apprenticeship will mainly take place in St. Katharinen. Of course, after a certain period of training and in consultation with your manager and project teams, it may also be possible to visit other offices from time to time.
Your school apprenticeship takes place at David-Röntgen-Schule in Neuwied.
Information Technology for System Integration
During your apprenticeship as an IT Specialist in System Integration, you will learn how to develop solutions for internal IT issues, create data models, and apply various testing methods. After a short introductory phase, you will be integrated into the company’s operational workflow and will be able to apply your newly acquired knowledge to real assignments.
Your tasks:
- After a short introductory phase to the basics, you will soon take on small tasks in internal and external projects. In this way, you will be integrated into the operational process as quickly as possible.
- Together with your team, you will develop solutions for internal IT problems. You will practice the working methods you have learned on real assignments.
- You will learn various test procedures and how to create data models. You will also learn how hardware and software components are put into operation and integrated into existing systems.

Business Apprenticeship
Digitalization Management
During your apprenticeship as a Business Administrator for Digitalization Management, you will work with modern tools, develop data‑driven solutions, and actively help shape the future of digital transformation. You will dive deep into business processes and learn how to create real value through smart and innovative ideas.
Your tasks:
- You will learn how to analyze, optimize and digitalize business processes.
- You will support internal and external projects by dealing with product solutions and the corresponding licensing.
- To do this, you will write suitable offers and contracts, taking into account relevant commercial processes.
- Together with your team, you will develop strategies for the optimal use of data and develop practical solutions for implementation - for example through Power BI reports.
- You take care of the creation and management of IT documentation.
What you need:
- At least a advanced technical college entrance qualification
- Logical and analytical thinking skills
- Enjoyment of business management software and IT in general, and a basic understanding of these areas
- Interest in commercial processes
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills (in German and English)
Your workplace:
When you apply or sign your contract, you can choose your training location: St. Katharinen or Bornheim.
That is where most of your practical apprenticeship will take place. Of course, after a certain period of training and in consultation with your manager and project teams, it may also be possible to visit other offices from time to time.
Your school apprenticeship takes place at BBSW Koblenz oder beim Ausbildungsort Bornheim im Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg in Bonn statt.
Office Management
During your apprenticeship as a Business Administrator for Office Management, you will gradually learn our internal workflows and gain insights into various departments of the company, such as the front office and financial accounting. After a short period of time, you will begin taking on your own tasks and gain a real understanding of modern office processes.
Your tasks:
- You are part of the team from the very beginning, get to know our internal processes and take over your own tasks after a short time.
- You support the colleagues in the head office and are one of the first contacts internally and externally. You answer the phone, keep track of incoming mails and inquiries and forward them to the responsible colleagues depending on their relevance. You also take on individual tasks, such as booking hotels.
- In addition, you will get to know the processes of financial accounting. Here you will support, for example, in booking purchase invoices or in communicating with suppliers.
What you need:

- Interest in processes and interrelationships in administration and accounting
Your workplace:
Your pracitcal apprenticeship will mainly take place in St. Katharinen. Visiting other offices is also possible after a certain period of training and in consultation with your manager.
Your school apprenticeship takes place at Ludwig-Erhard Schule in Neuwied.





FAQ
You are a fully valued member of the team, which is why we place great importance on fair compensation.
During your apprenticeship, we offer the following salary:
- 1st year: €850
- 2nd year: €950
- 3rd year: €1,100
In addition, we cover the costs of your schoolbooks as well as the preparatory courses for both parts of the final examinations.
Depending on the apprenticeship, you will need at least a secondary school certificate, but your personality and motivation matter far more to us than your grades.
The standard duration of your apprenticeship with us is three years. It consists of an in-company training component with us and a school-based component at a vocational school. You will attend the vocational school part-time, which means one or two days per week. In certain cases, however, it is possible to shorten the apprenticeship. We will be happy to discuss this with you individually during the course of your training.
We want to support you in the best possible way as you prepare for your final examinations, parts 1 and 2, which is why we cover the costs of external exam preparation courses. In addition, your trainers will also provide you with the best possible support.
